Karaoke Hire

One of the most important things for a karaoke night to run smoothly is a good host or presenter. With karaoke, the host needs to be extremely confident with his microphone skills for a number of reasons.

The host needs to be heard clearly and precisely over the PA system to get peoples attention for when they are singing. Sounds silly, but many hosts still don't use the microphone properly and end up sounding muffled and unable to get the next singer on the stage.

You need to entertain people and grab their attention more to get them involved, and with our karaoke hire you will get just that.

Unless people are experienced karaoke singers they tend to be a little bit shy at the beginning of the evening and need encouragement to get up and sing.

Many people run a karaoke because they enjoy singing, but this isn't always reason enough. You need to learn how to use the microphone properly, how to 'work the crowd' and how to encourage people to get excited when they have witnessed possibly the worst singer ever! Not to mention learning how to use and set up the equipment properly.

All of our karaoke hosts have trained as DJs, and so are well aware of how to use the microphone to its full effect and potential. They also have the know how in terms of the sound equipment, so know where to place speakers for maximum effect and coverage.

We work with many pubs and social clubs across the North East to host karaoke nights.
